FAIR PROCESS

DISPUTES, CORRECTIONS & REMOVALS

People affected by a case deserve a clear way to challenge errors, privacy exposure, impersonation, or unsafe content.
Effective August 14, 2026 · Attorney review recommended before unrestricted public submissions.

How to raise a concern

Use the Report a Concern form and identify the case, the specific statement or material at issue, why it is inaccurate or harmful, the correction or outcome requested, and any narrowly tailored support.

What happens next

We record the report, assess urgency, and may temporarily restrict content. We may contact the reporter or original submitter, request limited supporting information, add context, correct language, increase redaction, remove material, or leave the case unchanged.

Priority review

Reports involving exposed personal information, credible threats, impersonation, minors, intimate material, account credentials, court restrictions, or immediate safety risks receive priority. This form is not an emergency service; contact emergency services where immediate danger exists.

Fairness and abuse prevention

Submitting a report does not guarantee removal. Criticism, disagreement, embarrassment, or an unfavorable vote alone is not sufficient. Knowingly false, retaliatory, repetitive, or abusive notices may be limited, but good-faith reports will not be penalized.

Record of outcome

Where appropriate, Hater Rater may document significant corrections or removals. We may preserve limited records necessary to prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with law, or demonstrate how a report was handled.
